Contract for boilers in the Uman demonstration project signed

Municipal Utility “UmanTeploKomunEnergo” is in the implementation phase of its DemoUkrainaDH project. Tender for one of the project components has just been completed, namely for transformation of an existing central heat substation in the outskirts of Uman city into a boiler house with a pellet boiler and two gas boilers. A specific requirement for the tendering was that heat supply from the boiler house have to be operational at the start of the heating season 2019/20.
Received tenders were opened on 28 May 2019 at the premises of Uman District Heating Company by the tender evaluation committee. Four applications from the following Ukrainian companies were opened:
- LLC “Zlatograd LTD”,
- LLC ”Esko-Ltava”,
- Consortium “UkrAtomPrylad-Navitas”
- LLC “Energy Saving Technologies”.
Tender opening was conducted according to the established procedures. Evaluation of the tenders was concluded according to qualification criteria and procedures explained in the tender invitation documents.
LLC ”Esko-Ltava” was determined to have the lowest evaluated price, as well as qualified and capable of performing the contract.
LLC ”Esko-Ltava” was invited for contract negotiations for the supply and install contract of biofuel and condensing gas boilers. Completion of the works will be successively during the coming heating season.
